I wasn’t joking on page 10 about her doing homework. You get to read about it this week 
I know it’s just an aspect of storytelling pacing, but I always find it silly how the hero always happens to show up right when the villain’s doing his/her dirty deed and stops it. Sometimes, there’s waiting around to do! And besides, this book’s about the relationship anyway… stay tuned next week for what Johnny has to say!

i assume the lack of sound effects means she’s got her phone on vibrate? Good, she may be green but at least she wouldn’t leave the ringer on during a stakeout.
Good catch, Neil. I was going to put a sound effect in there originally but then thought about it. I guess I could have put a bzzt or something, but a lot of silent/vibrates these days don’t even make much noise.
Ringtones are for suckers. Phones are only smart if they’re silent. lol
