Issue 4 Page 20

Ahhh, what would a comic be if the evil mastermind villain didn’t divulge his plans? Peter Mulligan has had a history in Flying Sparks of stealing things for the fun of it. If you go wayyyyy back to issue 1 (nearly 2 years ago now, can you believe it?!) you can see him bringing in an expensive painting to Johnny, which started this whole deal.  Just wait until you see what it builds to!

Not sure if that was meant to be sarcastic or real, so I’ll respond as if it’s real.

At our current rate, we’re going at about 2.4 issues per year, or 52 pages per year. The reason it goes so slow is because of time and money. Comic pages are both expensive and time consuming to make, so unless all the readers here donated heavily, demanded flying sparks t-shirts and hats and all the like, bought physical copies of the issues and my other comics, there’s really no way to speed up that rate. I ‘ve got a full time job, Jethro’s on other works, and Shannon is a full time student. We’d all love to do comics full time but it’s not feasable while this is a free product.

I have Flying Sparks set to be probably around 12-15 issues in length total, which the next big pay offs for the whole ruby/laser/mulligan plotline probably around issue 8-9. So you’re looking at another two years minimum to really see the fruits of it, yes. And it only gets bigger from there.

If people want this to go faster, they hould feel free to contribute some funding. Til then, they should sit back and enjoy the tale being weaved.

Oh, snap! This guy sounds like he’s gonna be a handful. Anyone who defies logic for the sake of fun is someone you definitely need to keep an eye on and never turn your back to.

Great page!
